Which Bali Venue Feels
Right for Your Yoga Journey?
In this guide, we’ll help you imagine what life is like in each place, so you can simply feel which location resonates most. Enjoy 🙂
Our teachers are highly experienced and supportive at every step, guiding you through a comprehensive, carefully structured curriculum that allows you to progress with confidence. Alongside this, you will find inspiring yoga shalas fully equipped with props, pools where you can rest between classes, and nourishing meals to sustain your practice. Wherever you go, the level of teaching and comfort is equally high. What changes is the atmosphere you live in: the setting that shapes your days, the environment you wake up to in the morning, and the space where you spend your time throughout the training.
Amertham feels secluded, almost like its own little world. Yet it’s easy to reach the center of Ubud for a café visit in about 15 minutes on a bike taxi, and it’s also the closest of our venues to the ocean. On your day off you can be at the beach in just 20–25 minutes.
Amertham surrounds you with stunning jungle energy. From the hilltop paths, you look out over dense green slopes that fall into a deep river gorge. The river below is powerful and noisy, and when you walk down to its edge you feel its energy. Locals say Bali’s waters awaken creativity, and many students notice a spark of inspiration here.
Misty mountains with sacred peaks, jungles alive with rivers and waterfalls, cultural towns buzzing with cafés and art, and resorts that feel like palaces. When you choose House of Om for your Yoga Teacher Training, you choose both a beautifully designed program and the setting that will frame one of the most transformative journeys of your life.
“Stunning jungle views made me feel like I am living 3 weeks in a sacred valley.”
“Walking down to the river became my way to recharge after classes.”
“It’s an absolutely quiet, hidden place, but I could east get to any places around if I wanted.”
Why our students love Amertham
It’s the best of both worlds: peaceful retreat life when you want to rest, and vibrant city energy when you want to explore. Many students say Melati feels like a home, a safe base where you can immerse in training, then enjoy Ubud’s attractions on a free afternoon.
Melati is like a secret garden in the heart of Ubud. Inside the gates, life feels quiet: a pool shaded by trees, yoga shalas filled with soft light, paths lined with flowers. But step outside, and within minutes you’re among Ubud’s cafés, markets, and culture.
Most of your time is spent in dedicated House of Om spaces. The resort also welcomes other guests, so you may see travelers around the grounds, but students stay focused within their own group and practice areas.
Yoga here happens in inspiring spaces: rooftop shalas with panoramic views, bamboo studios tucked among trees, open-air halls filled with light. Between classes, you can relax in rooftop pools, stroll through gardens, or explore Ubud just minutes away. The Mansion is also home to our graduation gala, a festive and unforgettable evening.
Arriving at The Mansion feels like stepping into a Balinese royal estate. Grand statues, colorful art, tropical gardens, and pools at every corner. It’s a boutique resort with history, recognized worldwide, and one of House of Om’s most vibrant venues.
“The rooftop shala with its views was a dream.”
“The architecture made me feel like I was living in a royal palace. It was great!”
“I heard that this is their most famous location. The energy was inspiring.”
Pelaga is one of our most intimate venues, set away from Bali’s tourist paths. The days begin with yoga at sunrise, looking out over green hills, and evenings close under a sky full of stars. Here, you’re surrounded by the spaciousness of mountain life and the rhythm of nature.
Here the first thing you notice is the air: fresh, cool, carrying the scent of herbs and mountain soil. Then your eyes catch the view of the sacred Mount Agung rising in the distance, often framed by drifting clouds. The mountain’s presence gives this venue its unique atmosphere.
“Practicing yoga while seeing Mount Agung was unforgettable experience.”
“The silence and fresh air gave me space to reset after burnout.”
“It was refreshing to be on Bali and still feel cool, crisp air. Sometimes it even got a little chilly in the evenings, which felt amazing after the heat in other parts of the island.”
Why our students love The Mansion
