What Is Included in Amertham’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali?

What Is Included in Amertham’s 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali?

Amertham’s current 200-hour residential package combines 20 nights of accommodation, the in-person training program, breakfast, lunch and dinner, yoga equipment and listed community events. Room type changes your sleeping arrangement rather than what you study. Flights, visa fees and airport transfers are not included in our current Amertham package. Airport transfers are not included in the program, but you’ll have access to our list of trusted drivers who have been driving our students for years, so you can easily arrange a reliable transfer to and from the training location. Everything below reflects our current Amertham listings as of October 2026. Check our live program page for the latest details before booking.

Separately, additional online access may apply under our current payment and booking terms, so check the current eligibility conditions before relying on it. Flights, visa fees and airport transfers are not part of our Amertham package, but we can share the contact details of trusted drivers who have been driving our students for years.

One distinction worth making before reading further: “not listed” and “not included” are different. The sections below separate what we currently include, what is excluded from our Amertham package, and what we do not currently list either way.

Are 20 Nights of Accommodation Included?

Yes. The residential format means your accommodation for the full program is part of the package, in the room category you select when booking.

One practical note on allocation: the room photos on our website are representative examples, and the room assigned may vary in size, layout and furnishings. You are booking a category rather than a specific room, which is normal for residential programs but worth knowing if a particular layout matters to you.

Which Amertham Room Types Are Available?

Room Arrangement
Dorm Female dorm, four single beds
Triple Female room, three single beds
Twin Female-only shared room, two single beds
Private Double bed

Our current room listings include a shower, air conditioning, hot water and Wi-Fi across all four categories.

One policy to be aware of before choosing: our current room policy places male students traveling alone in a private room. If you are a male student and have booked a shared room by mistake, please contact our team. Since the dorm, triple, and twin are all listed as female rooms, this means a male student booking alone is booking the private category. There is also an additional-guest policy — partners require a private-room booking, with extra per-person fees for meals and facilities.

Does Choosing a Different Room Change the Training Package?

No, based on the current room cards. The training, meals, yoga equipment and community events are listed identically across all four categories.

What changes is the sleeping arrangement and the price. That makes the room decision a comfort-and-budget question rather than a question about what you receive from the course, which is a cleaner comparison than most programs offer.

Are Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included at Amertham?

Relaxing lounge and common area at House of Om Amertham yoga retreat in Bali

Yes. Amertham’s current listings include all three daily meals, on every room category.

We serve fresh, Ayurvedic-inspired vegetarian meals prepared with organic ingredients. This is worth confirming individually against any other program you compare, because meal arrangements differ widely between schools and are one of the most common reasons two similar headline prices are not actually comparable.

What Is Included in the 200-Hour Training?

The full published program, delivered in person across approximately three weeks.

Three-Week Style Progression

Week one builds a Hatha yoga foundation, week two moves into Vinyasa Flow, and week three covers Ashtanga alongside teaching development. For how the three relate, see how Amertham combines Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga.

Teaching and Technical Study

Teaching methodology, alignment, adjustments, biomechanics and injury-prevention considerations, alongside pranayama and yoga philosophy.

Additional Practices

Shatkarma, mantra, meditation, Yoga Nidra, Ayurveda, kirtan, sound healing and Voice Activation.

Final Assessments

Practical and theoretical examinations are part of the published training structure, taking place at the end of the program. For how a 200-hour curriculum is typically built, see what a 200-hour yoga teacher training covers.

Are Yoga Equipment Included?

Yes. Both are listed as included on every room card.

What the listing does not do is itemize them. “Yoga equipment” is not broken down into specific items, and they are not described by format or volume. If you want to know whether to bring your own mat or what study materials you will receive, contact our team before booking rather than assuming either way.

What Comes in Our Welcome Bag?

Students receive a welcome bag containing training materials, a neti pot, mala beads and a sarong. These are practical items supporting the training rather than a separately valued extra.

Are Community Events Included?

Yes. Current package listings include community events associated with the training, across all room categories.

The listing does not define which events run, how often, or what they involve. Treat this as an included category rather than a fixed published schedule. If the details matter to your decision, contact our team for the current information.

Is Online Training Included With Amertham?

Conditionally, and the detail here matters more than almost anything else on this page.

Under our current qualifying payment terms, students may receive lifetime access to our Online 200HR materials, including recorded lessons, teaching resources, templates and downloadable materials. That is a materials library attached to a payment condition, not a separate live course, and no live online classes are listed as part of the Amertham inclusion.

Because eligibility and the exact scope of online access can change, check our current terms before relying on it as part of your booking decision.

What Certificate or Completion Document Is Included?

After successfully completing the required training and assessments, you receive the applicable completion certificate from us. The certificate records that you successfully completed our training program. Individual Yoga Alliance registration is a separate process subject to current eligibility and registration requirements, and it is not part of what you book here. For the distinction in full, see how 200-hour training and RYT registration differ.

What Is Not Included in the Amertham Package?

Our current Amertham information lists the following items as excluded from the package.

Flights

Not included. Our current Amertham FAQ states that visa fees, airplane tickets and PCR tests, if required, are not included in the price.

Visa Fees

Not included, per the same statement. Entry requirements and their costs depend on your nationality and length of stay, so check current official Indonesian sources for your passport rather than relying on any article.

Airport Transportation

Airport transfers are not included in our Amertham package. However, we can share the contact details of trusted drivers who have been driving our students for years.

Costs Outside the 20-Night Program Stay

The package covers the published 20-night training stay. Accommodation before or after those dates, personal activities and other travel spending sit outside it unless explicitly included in your booking.

What Is Not Clearly Listed as Included?

A separate category, and an important one. Some things are neither listed as included nor stated as excluded, and treating silence as a “no” would be as inaccurate as treating it as a “yes”.

In that group: travel insurance, laundry, nights before or after the program, optional excursions, additional guest costs, special dietary arrangements, and the specific items within “yoga equipment”. Nearby waterfalls and nature parks fall here too — the program page mentions them as being close to the property, which is not the same as excursions being part of the package.

If any of these details matter to your booking, contact our team so we can confirm the current information rather than relying on an assumption.

Do Beginners Receive the Same Amertham Package?

Yoga teacher training group outside the bamboo yoga shala at House of Om Amertham in Bali

Yes. Our Amertham program is open to all levels, including complete beginners, and there is no separate beginner package or tier in the published information — the same inclusions apply regardless of experience. For what a first training asks of you, see beginner yoga teacher training in Bali.

What Does a Typical Training Day Include?

The published day runs from early morning through to evening, covering cleansing practices and chanting, asana and pranayama, a study block, Yoga Nidra, teaching methodology, alignment and adjustment work, and a closing evening practice, with the included meals between them.

Our daily schedule is subject to change at the teacher’s discretion, so treat the published timetable as a framework.

How Does Amertham Compare With a Non-Residential YTT?

Factor Amertham residential format A non-residential format may vary
Accommodation Included for 20 nights Often arranged and paid separately
Meals Three daily meals currently listed Varies widely, or not included
Training Integrated 200-hour program Varies by format
Daily travel Depends on the property layout Travel to and from the venue is often required
Room selection Part of the booking May not apply

The comparison is about package structure rather than quality. A non-residential program is not worse; it just puts more of the arranging, and more of the cost, on you.

How Should You Compare YTT Package Inclusions?

Fifteen points, because headline prices rarely cover the same things:

  • Number of accommodation nights included
  • Room arrangement and how many people share
  • Meals per day, and on which days
  • Training format — residential, hybrid or commute
  • Curriculum, and how the hours are distributed
  • How much supervised teaching practice is included
  • Whether there are assessments, and what form they take
  • Equipment provided
  • The certificate issued and the registration terminology used
  • Airport transportation
  • Travel costs that fall outside the package
  • Policy on extra nights before or after
  • Payment conditions
  • Cancellation and rescheduling conditions

What Should You Verify Before Booking Amertham?

Booking and payment conditions are separate from the inclusion question and can change, so check these on our live Amertham page or contact our team:

  • Your exact training date and its availability
  • Room availability in your preferred category
  • The current package price
  • Current early-bird eligibility, if you expect it to apply
  • Meal inclusion for your booking
  • The room arrangement and any policy affecting your booking
  • Current online-access terms and whether your payment qualifies
  • Current certificate wording
  • Airport transportation arrangements
  • Deposit and payment terms
  • Cancellation and rescheduling terms
  • Additional guest policy, if relevant to you
  • Any dietary or accessibility needs
