The way the course was structured was a plus, it made it so easy to go through all the steps and sink all the information in, considering I was at the beginner level. The practical side of it was made easy, especially thanks to Peewee, which is an outstanding Teacher. The course definitely enriched my knowledge and opened new doors for me, so I am very grateful. All teachers were great. I would like to thank Pewee for the effort she puts into this school and for helping and forming so many opportunities for teachers and respectively for the general public, that benefits after.

"5 star rating! I loved this experience. I have gained so much knowledge of yoga and I feel it has helped me to become much more confident. " "Thank you to Peewee and Evelina for amazing teachings. The videos with them are so clear, understandable and they are really great teachers. I would love to have a class with them in person one day! And Thank you especially to Spoorthi my teacher. Her feedback has been so valuable." The course has opened my mind and I feel so much more confident in myself. I was quite shy and I think that I am much more open and confident in my ability now.

Naseen Banue

"I've learnt so much more than yoga within these 2 months. I now have more knowledge about Pranayama (breathing technique) , definitely a bonus, I must admit." Among many things I must say that I now have a youtube channel (hahaha) joking aside, I got to understand how class planning works and planning classes according to Chakras. I learned about different breathing techniques and body alignment so on. Wish I was in Bali to experience this and to learn from Pee Wee.

Andreea Androhovici

"I found the course engaging ,both practice and theory and mostly the support received from our Teacher, Lani .The feedback received has supported me in my learning journey. "

JAMIE ANNE SAVOIE

" I really enjoyed my experience with this course. My teacher and the zoom calls really made the experience. I really enjoyed that aspect the most. Along with the homework assignments which helped me learn A LOT." The best thing for me about this course is my teacher and practicing the techniques I learned. I also really loved following all the videos with Peewee I think she is so great! <3 I felt like I really enjoyed yoga before but now that I have so much more knowledge about it. it has really helped deepened my practice My thought about teachers is: Your passion and love for yoga really shows and it made it so easy to learn!

Rafaa Alboali

Facebook

"Good job making it happen, I'm very appreciative of this opportunity. It made the lockdown in extreme heat feel more bearable and helped me set the stones to my next adventures." "All the other teachers have shown me different perspectives of yoga: Peewee is a pure goddess and I'm forever grateful for the wisdom she shared. Ewelina is also a great teacher and very relatable" Physically, I'm stronger and more flexible. Mentally, opened my mind to a whole new world, my mind-body connection is stronger than ever. I perceive the world more calmly and clearly now. Emotionally and spiritually, definitely filled a void and made me feel fulfilled.

House of Om in Collaboration with Rishikesh Yogpeeth

Terms & Conditions

Course Progression and Requirements

  • 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is suitable for all levels of yogi, from the absolute beginners to the more advanced. However, it is advisable to learn some basic foundation and have a few months of consistent yoga practice prior to the course.
  • 300 hours Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is an advanced course for those that have already completed the 200hrs or have already been teaching for 3+ years with extensive experience. According to Yoga Alliance’s standard, it requires a 200YTT certification before the course.
  • To register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT500, you will need a 200YTT certificate from a Registered Yoga School (RYS), as there is no standalone RYT300 certification.
  • The 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is a comprehensive program that combines both the 200-hour and 300-hour trainings. It is designed for individuals who are deeply committed to pursuing a career in yoga and who already have a well-developed personal practice. It is possible to undertake a 200-hour and 300-hour training back-to-back, provided the student feels ready for the intensity of the journey. If you are considering this pathway, we kindly ask that you connect with our team prior to booking, so we can ensure it’s the right fit for you.
  • All participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment. This is a requirement for Yoga Alliance certification. By completing your booking, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. House of Om is not liable for certificates that cannot be issued due to non-compliance with this condition.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to ensure their eligibility to travel to and enter India. Cancellations due to non-compliance or ineligibility to travel or enter the country do not qualify as force majeure.

Accommodation

The ashram operates as a community rather than a commercial hotel. Students are expected to participate respectfully and understand that services and facilities may differ from those of standard accommodation.

Room allocation is based on availability.

By registering, students acknowledge and accept that:

  • accommodation follows the traditional ashram lifestyle;
  • housekeeping is provided once per week;
  • towels and bed linens are changed weekly; and
  • students are expected to maintain reasonable cleanliness within their own rooms between scheduled housekeeping.

The ashram is situated approximately 1 km uphill from the vehicle drop-off point and requires a walk to reach the premises. Any medical conditions, physical limitations, or accessibility requirements that may affect a student’s ability to access or participate in the training must be disclosed and confirmed by House of Om prior to booking.

If you wish to arrive earlier before the training, please let us know in advance so we can check availability. Additional nights are charged at the daily retreat rate and must be paid on-site upon arrival.

Meals

Meals provided during the training are vegetarian.

Most meals contain dairy, onion, and garlic.

Students must notify House of Om of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before booking.

While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate vegan diets and certain allergies (such as gluten), House of Om and Rishikesh Yogpeeth cannot guarantee that all dietary requests can be accommodated. Confirmation of dietary accommodation will be made before the students proceed with the booking.

Ashram Community and Dress Code

Students acknowledge that the India training is conducted within a traditional yoga ashram and agree to respect the customs, daily routines, staff, fellow students, and local culture.

To maintain a focused and respectful learning environment, photography, video recording, and the use of cameras or other recording devices are strictly prohibited during classes.

Students understand that any disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate behavior that negatively affects the safety, wellbeing, or learning environment of staff, teachers, or fellow participants may result in disciplinary actions, including the withholding of certification or removal from the training without refund.

Dress Code

Students agree to follow the dress code throughout the training.

Appropriate attire includes modest clothing suitable for yoga practice that provides adequate body coverage.

The following are not permitted:

  • tight fitness yoga clothes: low-cut, revealing tops, halters, crop tops, or fitness bras without a shirt on top;
  • short shorts;
  • extremely tight or loose clothing;
  • torn clothing or clothing displaying offensive slogans;
  • footwear inside designated yoga shalas, dining areas, kitchens, or ceremonial spaces.

Students may consult House of Om team at care@houseofom.com before their trip for any doubts about clothing.

Attendance & Certification

Attendance at all scheduled classes, workshops, ceremonies, practicums, and assessments is mandatory.

Students are expected to maintain 100% attendance throughout the training. Absences will affect eligibility for certification.

Emergency absences must be communicated in advance whenever possible.

The management of House of Om and Rishikesh Yogpeeth have the right to decide the outcome and the certification if attendance requirements or graduation requirements are not satisfactorily fulfilled.

Leaving the Ashram

For India trainings conducted at the ashram, students may only leave the premises during scheduled free time or designated days off unless prior decision or approval has been discussed with school management.

House of Om Online Course Policy

At House of Om, we are committed to providing high-quality yoga education while maintaining compliance with Yoga Alliance standards. As Yoga Alliance requirements may change over time, the following policies apply to all online courses.

Glossary of Terms

For the purpose of this policy, the following terms are used:

Online Course
Refers to the online training program delivered through the online learning platform, including online course materials, recorded lessons, live Zoom sessions, online workshops, assignments, and teacher guidance provided through the platform.

Offline Course
Refers to any Yoga Teacher Training program conducted in person at a physical location, including training held in Bali, India, Thailand, or any other future offline training locations.

Study Group
Refers to a guided learning group within the Online Course where students are assigned to a teacher and fellow students.

1. Responsibility for Understanding Course Requirements

Students are responsible for reviewing all course information, graduation requirements, schedules, and policies before enrolling.

Refund requests submitted after the 7-day money-back guarantee period due to misunderstandings regarding the course content, schedule, certification requirements, or any published course information will not be approved.

By enrolling, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted all House of Om policies.

Questions may be directed to the Student Support Team at online@houseofom.com or via Direct Message through the online learning platform.

2. Course Start Deadline

Students must begin their online course within 12 months of the date of purchase.

Students who do not begin the course within this period will be required to pay a $90 Study Group Allocation Fee before joining a study group.

Delaying the start of the course may affect eligibility for Yoga Alliance certification, as certification requirements are determined by Yoga Alliance and may change over time.

3. Study Group Policy

200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training

Study Group Allocation

Students who select “Start as soon as possible” during enrollment will be assigned to the next available study group based on their preferred time zone and availability.

House of Om offers multiple study groups across different time zones to accommodate students worldwide.

Students who are not ready to begin should select “Do not want to start yet” during enrollment or notify Student Support before study group allocation.

Study groups are generally allocated within 2–4 weeks, although this may vary depending on teacher availability and the formation of suitable groups.

Guided Study Group

The 200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training is delivered through guided study groups led by an assigned teacher. Each study group is designed to be completed over approximately 4 months, consisting of:

  • Approximately 3 months of live Zoom sessions.
  • Up to 1 additional month for homework review, teacher feedback, and final assessments.

Students are expected to complete all mandatory homework assignments, attend the required live Zoom sessions, and submit their final assessments during the study group period.

Students who do not complete these requirements within their assigned study group and wish to continue receiving teacher guidance must join a new study group.

A $90 Study Group Reassignment Fee applies when a student:

  • does not complete the required coursework within their assigned study group and wishes to continue with a new study group;
  • requests a different teacher;
  • requests reassignment to a study group in a different time zone after allocation; or
  • requests a change to their Zoom schedule after the first live Zoom session.

Requests made before the first live Zoom session will be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability.

Students who need to pause their studies due to medical reasons may rejoin a future study group without paying the reassignment fee. A valid medical certificate is required.

300-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training

The 300-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training operates with an ongoing live study group rather than fixed cohorts.

Unlike the 200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training, students are not assigned to a fixed study group or teacher, and the Study Group Reassignment Policy does not apply.

Students may attend live Zoom sessions according to their availability. To be eligible for graduation, students must complete a minimum of 45 hours of live Zoom training, including the required teaching practice hours outlined in the course curriculum.

Once a student confirms they are ready to begin and is activated in the live study group, they have 12 months to complete all graduation requirements and qualify for certification.

Students who are unable to complete all graduation requirements within this period may purchase a 6-month Course Completion Extension for an additional $90.

Students are responsible for attending the required live training hours and successfully completing all graduation requirements within the applicable course completion deadline.

If they do not pass the second attempt, they will be required to restart the course from the beginning and re-enroll by paying the full study group fee.

This policy is in place to maintain the high standards of our teacher training program and to ensure that every graduate is fully prepared, confident, and qualified to teach safely and responsibly. Our goal is not simply to certify students, but to support each individual in becoming a knowledgeable and competent yoga teacher.

To successfully complete the course and receive a Yoga Alliance-accredited 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certificate, students must:

5. Payment and Refund Policy

House of Om may offer promotional pricing, discounts, or special campaigns from time to time. Promotional offers are subject to specific terms and eligibility criteria and cannot be applied retrospectively. Previous purchases are not eligible for price adjustments or partial refunds due to subsequent promotions.

6. Course Transfer Policy

Offline to Online Transfer

Students transferring from an offline course to an online course become subject to all online course policies.

Returning to an Offline Course

Students who previously transferred from an offline course to an online course may return to an offline course. This option is available one time only.

The following conditions apply:

  • A $90 transfer fee applies to cover administrative and teacher allocation costs.
  • Any difference in course fees must be paid when booking the offline course.
  • If the student does not complete the offline course after returning, they will not be eligible for another transfer. Any future enrollment, whether in an online or offline course, will require the purchase of a new course at the applicable full course fee and the student must restart the program from the beginning.

Online to Offline Transfer

Students transferring from an online course to an offline course after joining a study group must:

  • Pay any remaining balance of the offline course tuition.
  • Pay a $90 transfer fee to cover study group administration and teacher allocation costs.

7. Changes to Certification Requirements

House of Om will make every reasonable effort to maintain Yoga Alliance accreditation and provide students with the support necessary to complete their training.

However, Yoga Alliance certification requirements are determined independently by Yoga Alliance and may change over time. House of Om cannot guarantee certification under future standards where external requirements have changed after a student’s enrollment or delay in commencing studies.

Course Progression and Requirements:

  • 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is suitable for all levels of yogi, from the absolute beginners to the more advanced. However, it is advisable to learn some basic foundation and have a few months of consistent yoga practice prior to the course.
  • The 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is an advanced course designed for students who have already completed a 200-hour certification. While it is recommended that participants have further developed their personal practice and, ideally, gained some teaching experience, this is not a strict requirement. According to Yoga Alliance standards, the only prerequisite for enrolling in a 300-hour YTT is the completion of a 200-hour certification. Therefore, it is possible to undertake a 200-hour and 300-hour training back-to-back, provided the student feels ready for the intensity of the journey. If you are considering this pathway, we kindly ask that you connect with our team prior to booking, so we can ensure it’s the right fit for you.
  • The 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) is a comprehensive program that combines both the 200-hour and 300-hour trainings. It is designed for individuals who are deeply committed to pursuing a career in yoga and who already have a well-developed personal practice.
  • To register with Yoga Alliance as an RYT500, you will need a 200YTT certificate from a Registered Yoga School (RYS), as there is no standalone RYT300 certification.
  • All participants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of enrollment. This is a requirement for Yoga Alliance certification. By completing your booking, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. House of Om is not liable for certificates that cannot be issued due to non-compliance with this condition.

200-Hour/ 300 Hour Hybrid Yoga Teacher Training

2. Online Component Flexibility:

Students may complete the online component before, or after the 10-day/ 14- day in-person immersion.

3. Certification Requirements:

Students must complete both the online and in-person components. Our team will confirm completion before issuing the certification.

  • You may complete the online (theory) part either before or after the on-site training.
  • To receive the full 200-Hour Yoga Alliance-accredited certificate during the graduation ceremony, all online (theory) requirements must be fully completed and officially confirmed before the on-site practical training begins.
  • If the on-site training has started and the online (theory) certificate has not yet been obtained, only the in-person training certificate will be issued at the graduation ceremony.
  • After the on-site training has concluded, you may continue completing the online (theory) component. Once both components have been completed and officially verified, the full 200-Hour Yoga Alliance certificate will be sent via email.

4. Full Completion:

The 200-hour/300 hour certification will only be issued once both components have been successfully completed and verified by our team.
