The 300hrs YTT is an advanced course for those who have completed the 200hrs. Some might misinterpret that the 300hrs YTT is simply the 200hrs YTT + 100 hours, but these are completely different courses.

We care about your safety and well-being during our courses, which is why we kindly ask that you let us know about any injuries you may have before purchasing the course. If you have a muscle strain, it should not be a problem. However, if it is a more serious injury, it may affect your practice and limit your movement. We recommend that you consult with your doctor and inform us beforehand, so we can advise you accordingly.

You can start with the modules anytime and choose to join the study group later when you are ready. If you’re not sure about your schedule or need more time to commit, just choose “do not want to start yet” when completing your profile.

Each study group will have its timeline and Zoom call schedules.

However, the progress will still depend on each individual’s commitment and pace. For example, after you are allocated to a study group, you can submit your homework and attend at least 3 Zoom calls. Once you have completed these requirements, you will be able to submit your final assignment. If the teacher decides that you are ready to complete your study and pass the final exam, we will give you the certificate. You will not need to wait for the other students in your study group.

If you have completed the course and only need to submit the final exam after the last Zoom call, you can do so through our student support. You will have one month after the last Zoom call to submit your exam. If you need more time to complete the course, you can continue your studies after the study group is dismissed. However, to comply with Yoga Alliance’s rules, we will need to assign you to another group, which will cost an additional $90.

Our courses are currently only available in English. Having at least an intermediate understanding of both spoken and written English is important for keeping up with the lessons and passing the final certification exam. Please reach out to us if you feel unsure about your English level.

We understand that life can get busy, and we want to make sure that our program works for you. That’s why we offer flexibility when it comes to starting your modules and joining a study group. You can start your modules whenever you’re ready and choose to join a study group later. If you’re not sure about your schedule, simply select “do not want to start yet” when completing your profile.

When you’re ready to commit and join a study group, just let us know by notifying our student support team and updating your availability on your profile. Our lead teacher and student support team will be there to help you every step of the way. The group will have six Zoom calls where you’ll receive feedback on your assignments, photos and videos, and homework. Please note that there will be no practice during these calls. However, you can communicate with your teacher directly on the online platform and we also offer private sessions with our expert teachers as additional support.

Once you gain access to the modules, you can start learning right away! However, the Zoom calls and assignment reviews will only start after you’ve been assigned to a study group and a teacher.

If you can’t attend the live Zoom calls, don’t worry! They’re recorded so you can watch them at your convenience. However, please note that you’ll need to attend at least three out of six Zoom calls throughout your journey with a study group.

If you have been assigned to a study group and are worried that the timeline may not work for you, please reach out to our student support team as soon as possible, before the first zoom call starts. During the course, you will have the opportunity to practice teaching with real students. As part of this process, you will receive homework assignments to help you deepen your understanding of the material and practice your teaching skills. These assignments may include submitting videos or written work, such as creating a 30-minute class that emphasizes adjustments or writing a 60-minute class plan.

We take the quality of our graduates very seriously and believe that completing homework assignments is crucial to your success as a yoga teacher. Not only are these assignments mandatory to fulfill Yoga Alliance’s contact hours requirement, but they will also help you prepare for your final exam. Our goal is to provide you with the best possible education and support to ensure that you are fully prepared to become a certified yoga teacher.

We understand that exams can be daunting, but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! There won’t be a live practice exam – instead, you’ll submit a final practical video and take two written tests.

For the practical exam, you’ll record yourself teaching a 60-minute class using a class plan provided by your teacher. The plan follows a standard structure including an introduction, centering, if relevant – Pranayama and Sun Salutations, Asana sequence, Shavasana, and an ending.

After completing the practical exam, you’ll take the written exam. In Module 20, you’ll find a lesson called “Final Written Exam”. It’s structured as a quiz with approximately 200 questions, timed at two hours. The passing score is 50%.

Finally, you’ll write an essay. We’ll provide suggested topics, but you’re free to choose your own. If your essay is sufficient, we may post it on our blog, giving you all the credit. We believe this process ensures our graduates are well-equipped to teach, and we’re here to help you every step of the way.
