Why Choose House of Om for Your 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali?

What sets our program apart as the best yoga teacher training in Bali? It’s our commitment to authenticity, rooted in over a decade of guiding more than 15,000 graduates worldwide. Unlike generic retreats, we emphasize a balanced fusion of Hatha, Vinyasa, and Ashtanga styles, ensuring you gain versatile skills for any studio or online platform. Our intimate groups—capped at 25 participants—foster deep connections, while expert facilitators from India, the US, and beyond bring diverse perspectives that enrich every session.

Picture this: Daily practices amid Bali’s enchanting waterfalls, where the air hums with prana. You’ll not only master asanas and sequencing but also explore yoga’s philosophical depths, drawing from the Vedas and Patanjali’s sutras. Graduates often describe it as a “rebirth,” emerging with tools to navigate life’s ebbs and flows. As one alum shared, “House of Om didn’t just teach me yoga; it awakened my inner teacher.” For those eyeing a career shift, this certification opens doors to global opportunities, backed by our lifetime access to an online learning portal packed with resources.

The Immersive Curriculum: Building a Strong Foundation

At the core of our 200-hour yoga teacher training in Bali lies a meticulously designed syllabus that meets—and exceeds—international standards set by Yoga Alliance. Spanning 20 transformative days, the program weaves technique, anatomy, philosophy, and teaching methodology into a seamless tapestry.

Asana and Alignment Mastery

Dive into the essence of movement with explorations of standing balances, spinal twists, inversions, and backbends. We’ll cover pose families in Hatha for grounding, Vinyasa for fluidity, and Ashtanga’s half-primary series for discipline. Learn precise alignments, modifications for injuries, and hands-on adjustments to ensure safe, inclusive teaching. By week’s end, you’ll sequence dynamic flows that honor each student’s unique body.

Breath, Meditation, and Inner Harmony

Pranayama isn’t just breath control—it’s the bridge to vitality. Practice Nadi Shodhana for balance, Ujjayi for focus, and Bhramari for calming the mind. Complement this with meditation techniques, from body scans to mindfulness, and even Sadhu Nail Board sessions for resilience. These elements cultivate emotional stability, vital for both personal practice and guiding others through stress. Discover how yoga eases anxiety in our insightful piece on Yogic Practices for Stress Relief.

Philosophy and Anatomy: The Mind-Body Connection

Unravel yoga’s roots through discussions on Sanatana Dharma, chakras, and the eight limbs of Ashtanga. Anatomy sessions demystify musculoskeletal systems, revealing how poses impact organs and energy flow. We’ll address contraindications and trauma-informed approaches, empowering you to teach ethically and compassionately.

Teaching Methodology and Practicum

The heart of becoming a teacher? Practice. Lead peer sessions, receive constructive feedback, and refine verbal cues. Our practicum simulates real classes, building your poise and intuition. Graduates leave ready to craft themed sequences that inspire transformation.

This holistic curriculum ensures you’re not just certified but confident. For deeper dives into conscious living, check out our blog on From Exercise to Conscious Living, where we explore yoga’s role beyond the mat.

A Day in the Life: Your Bali Rhythm

Envision a schedule that honors rest as much as rigor. Our days begin at dawn with Shatkarma cleansing and mantra chanting, flowing into invigorating asana and pranayama. Mornings blend lab work and Jnana Yoga philosophy, followed by nourishing Ayurvedic meals—think fresh tropical fruits, vegan curries, and gluten-free delights sourced locally.

Afternoons shift to teaching labs and alignment deep dives, winding down with Yoga Nidra for integration and evening Sadhana under the stars. Free time invites waterfall hikes or temple visits, immersing you in Bali’s soulful vibe. This rhythm prevents burnout, allowing insights to bloom naturally.

Meet Our Esteemed Facilitators

Our teachers are the heartbeat of House of Om. Led by Rahul Rawat, a Hatha virtuoso with 20+ years guiding global seekers, and Georgia Talcott, a Vinyasa innovator from the US, our team embodies diverse lineages. Darshini Prajapati infuses Ashtanga precision, while Achuthan and Rama add meditative depth from Indian and Tunisian traditions. Their collective wisdom—honed across 25,000+ students—creates a supportive space for your evolution.

Luxurious Inclusions and Serene Accommodations

True immersion starts with comfort. Your stay at Amertham Resort, a boutique haven amid Ubud’s jungles, includes 19 nights in air-conditioned rooms with hot showers and Wi-Fi. Choose from dorms to private suites, all steps from training spaces. Daily buffet meals fuel your journey, with options for vegan, vegetarian, or Ayurvedic preferences.

Extras elevate the experience: Sound healing circles, ice baths for resilience, and a “Business of Yoga” workshop for entrepreneurial tips. Airport transfers, all materials, and unlimited access to our online platform? Included. No hidden fees—just pure value.

1. Responsibility for Understanding Course Requirements

Students are responsible for reviewing all course information, graduation requirements, schedules, and policies before enrolling.

By enrolling, students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted all House of Om policies.

Questions may be directed to the Student Support Team at online@houseofom.com or via Direct Message through the online learning platform.

2. Course Start Deadline

Students must begin their online course within 12 months of the date of purchase.

Students who do not begin the course within this period will be required to pay a $90 Study Group Allocation Fee before joining a study group.

Delaying the start of the course may affect eligibility for Yoga Alliance certification, as certification requirements are determined by Yoga Alliance and may change over time.

3. Study Group Policy

200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training

Study Group Allocation

Students who select “Start as soon as possible” during enrollment will be assigned to the next available study group based on their preferred time zone and availability.

House of Om offers multiple study groups across different time zones to accommodate students worldwide.

Students who are not ready to begin should select “Do not want to start yet” during enrollment or notify Student Support before study group allocation.

Study groups are generally allocated within 2–4 weeks, although this may vary depending on teacher availability and the formation of suitable groups.

Guided Study Group

The 200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training is delivered through guided study groups led by an assigned teacher. Each study group is designed to be completed over approximately 4 months, consisting of:

  • Approximately 3 months of live Zoom sessions.
  • Up to 1 additional month for homework review, teacher feedback, and final assessments.

Students are expected to complete all mandatory homework assignments, attend the required live Zoom sessions, and submit their final assessments during the study group period.

Students who do not complete these requirements within their assigned study group and wish to continue receiving teacher guidance must join a new study group.

A $90 Study Group Reassignment Fee applies when a student:

  • does not complete the required coursework within their assigned study group and wishes to continue with a new study group;
  • requests a different teacher;
  • requests reassignment to a study group in a different time zone after allocation; or
  • requests a change to their Zoom schedule after the first live Zoom session.

Requests made before the first live Zoom session will be accommodated free of charge, subject to availability.

Students who need to pause their studies due to medical reasons may rejoin a future study group without paying the reassignment fee. A valid medical certificate is required.

300-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training

The 300-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training operates with an ongoing live study group rather than fixed cohorts.

Unlike the 200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training, students are not assigned to a fixed study group or teacher, and the Study Group Reassignment Policy does not apply.

Students may attend live Zoom sessions according to their availability. To be eligible for graduation, students must complete a minimum of 45 hours of live Zoom training, including the required teaching practice hours outlined in the course curriculum.

Once a student confirms they are ready to begin and is activated in the live study group, they have 12 months to complete all graduation requirements and qualify for certification.

Students who are unable to complete all graduation requirements within this period may purchase a 6-month Course Completion Extension for an additional $90.

Students are responsible for attending the required live training hours and successfully completing all graduation requirements within the applicable course completion deadline.
