What Does the Amertham Training Fee Include?

Our current package covers five core inclusions, and they are the same whichever room you book.

20 Nights of Accommodation

Twenty nights at Amertham in your chosen room category, matching the length of the residential program. There is no separate accommodation booking to arrange.

200-Hour In-Person Training

The full residential teacher training, delivered in person over approximately three weeks, including the end-of-program examinations.

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

All three daily meals are included on our current Amertham room cards. We serve fresh, Ayurvedic-inspired vegetarian meals prepared with organic ingredients.

Yoga Equipment

Both are listed as included across all four room categories.

Community Events and Welcome Materials

Community events are included as part of the package. Students also receive a welcome bag containing training materials, a neti pot, mala beads and a sarong.

Why Does the Price Change by Room Type?

Because accommodation is the only variable in the fee. The training program, meals, equipment, materials and events are identical across all four tiers — what changes is how many people you share a room with for 20 nights.

Under current early-bird rates, $1,190 separates the dorm from the private room; against regular prices the gap is $1,400. That difference buys privacy and nothing else, which makes this a question about how you prefer to live for three weeks rather than about what you get from the course.

Are Accommodation and Meals Included?

Yes. Our current Amertham package includes 20 nights of accommodation plus breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The room you select determines the accommodation portion of the price. Meals do not vary by room — all three are listed with every category. Confirm this individually against any program you compare, because meal arrangements differ widely between Bali schools and are a common reason two similar headline prices are not comparable.

What Part of the Fee Covers the Yoga Teacher Training?

The training is not priced separately from accommodation, so there is no published split. What the fee buys on the training side is a structured three-week program.

Week one establishes a Hatha yoga foundation. Week two moves into Vinyasa Flow. Week three combines Ashtanga with teaching development. The program concludes with practical and theoretical examinations. Alongside the three styles, our curriculum includes teaching methodology, alignment, adjustment, biomechanics, injury-prevention considerations, pranayama, yoga philosophy, meditation, mantra, Yoga Nidra, shatkarma, Ayurveda, kirtan, sound healing and Voice Activation.

Does the Amertham Fee Include Learning Materials and Yoga Equipment?

Yes. Yoga equipment and learning materials are included with every current room category. Students also receive a welcome bag containing training materials, a neti pot, mala beads and a sarong. These are listed inclusions rather than items with a published separate value.

Is Online Training Included in the Amertham Price?

Partly, and the detail matters here. For qualifying full-payment Early Bird bookings, we currently include complimentary lifetime access to our Online 200HR materials.

This access includes recorded lessons, teaching resources, templates and downloadable materials. We do not currently describe this access as a separate live online course, and live online classes are not listed as part of the Amertham package. Can You Reserve Amertham With a Deposit?

Yes. Our current Amertham booking information states that a $500 deposit can be used to secure a place. 

Payment conditions can change, and the published information does not set out the full terms. Before paying, check our current deposit conditions, the deadline for the remaining balance, your early-bird eligibility, cancellation policy and date-change terms. What Does the Early-Bird Price Mean?

We currently display a 15% early-bird offer, which is the difference between the regular published price and the lower figure shown alongside it — $375 on the dorm, rising to $585 on the private room.

Our current offer also links full payment during the Early Bird period with eligibility for the online-materials access. We do not currently publish how far in advance a booking must be made to qualify or when the current Early Bird period ends. Do not assume the rate applies automatically or that the conditions match one of our other programs, as offer terms can differ by program. What Costs Should You Budget for Beyond the Amertham Fee?

Several items sit outside any training package. These are where trip budgets are usually underestimated:

• Flights to and from Bali, usually the largest single additional cost
• Indonesian entry requirements and any associated fees, which depend on your nationality and length of stay and should be checked against current official government sources
• Travel insurance covering the length of your stay and daily physical activity
• Airport transfers are not included in our Amertham package, but we can share the contact details of trusted drivers who have been driving our students for years. You can also arrange your own taxi or book a car through a local transport app. 
• Extra accommodation if you arrive before or stay after the 20 nights
• Personal spending and any optional activities outside the training schedule
• Food or drink outside the included meals

How Should You Calculate Your Full Bali YTT Budget?

Work from a simple sum rather than from the headline rate:

Training package for your chosen room + international and domestic travel + entry and visa costs + travel insurance + transfers + any extra accommodation + personal spending = your estimated total trip budget.

Is the Cheapest Room Always the Best Choice?

Not necessarily. The dorm carries the lowest current published price, and for many students it is the right call — but it is worth deciding deliberately rather than by default.

The training itself does not change. What changes is where you sleep and recover across 20 nights on a schedule that starts early. If you rest poorly in shared rooms, the saving may cost more than it returns. If you are comfortable sharing, the dorm frees budget for flights or a longer stay.

What Does the 200-Hour Fee Mean for Certification?

The fee covers participation in our 200-hour program and the applicable completion process. Students who successfully complete the program requirements receive the applicable training completion certificate.

It does not cover individual Yoga Alliance registration, which is a separate step. YTT 200 is the training program; RYS 200 describes a school registered with Yoga Alliance at the 200-hour level; RYT 200 is an individual teacher registration with its own requirements and fees.
