As of today, Soomit is a renowned yogi and a meditation guru. He has cultivated a balanced understanding between the past and the future. He treasures the traditional values and also utilizes the modern aspect of life and society. The teaching of Soomit is ultimately about bliss, which exceeds stress management and the goal of achieving optimal health.
Born in a traditional Yoga family, Soomit started practicing Yoga at the tender age of Eight. He was honored with various awards during his school years. He broke two records of doing maximum back-flips per minute in India due to his exceptional flexibility and strength. His records are yet to be broken.
Enjoying deep meditation from an early age, Soomit started exploring the world of Yoga as therapy at the age of 13. At 16, he started spreading the goodness and benefits of therapeutic Yoga among kids and the elderly.
After receiving his bachelor's degree in Sanskrit and post-graduate diploma in Yoga, Many Universities and other institutes engaged Soomit to coach students and their employees for stress management and to improve their performance. Alongside, Soomit also took part in a number of national events as Yoga demonstrator and Yoga therapist, promoting Yoga among a wider audience.
In 2006, Soomit embarked on a journey to Greater China with the mission to share his passion for, and knowledge of, Yoga; and to share the benefits of Yoga with all. Over the past Seven years, Soomit has been teaching Yoga in Many countries specially Asian region.
